Retirement Planning
In financial planning, provision must be made not only for death and disability but also for retirement. Current income must meet current needs and also provide for the future needs of the individual and his or her dependants. Those needs continue to grow because lifespans have increased for both men and women. Retirement also brings additional costs, such as higher medical bills, transport costs and care services, which are not normally needed when one is younger. Without proper planning, this period of life can become a nightmare instead of the holiday it was meant to be.
